2011.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, FELLOW (Ex)-ORMONDIANS!!! :D Glad we're all still alive and kickin' after a grueling year! (though personally, I like the sound of 2010 than 2011).

I actually wrote a post on my personal blog but I shall copy it here!

There were fireworks display. Or at least, I heard them. Doubt they were sounds of thunder. LOL. My hearing hasn’t failed me yet, I’m only 20. :)

Bro bought a slice of awesome yummylicious cake and donut from Starbucks, which we kindly (or cunningly) offered a bite to Daddy just so he wouldn’t tell Mummy about it.

I was sitting on my bed (still am…mmmm….) texting my friend Shin Yi and skyping with Jess as I ushered in the year 2011. Not very eventful, neither very significant to me. For me, New Year’s Day has always just been another day I’d usually stay home because I’d refuse to battle the jam and be sandwiched like sardine in the countdown stampede, just to scream “3…2…1….Happy New Year!” and have my eyes infected by whipped cream or whatever they use that comes out from the aerosol can.

I was really, really bored. I complained (since when do I not? LOL.) about having nothing to do, no friends to hang out with, no countdowns to go to. Then I asked myself again, do I want to attend a countdown event? Not really!

Besides, for me, there is nothing significant about New Year’s Day. I’ve had an amazing 2010 with ups and downs and I’m pretty sure 2011 will be the same. :) Then again, I doubt I’d ever jump off the cliff and plane again!

And this year, hopefully, I will complain less! Lol. In Singapore, one of the first things I said to my friend, Frans were “You know ah…your custom officers damn ham sup!!!”…etc etc.

ANYWAY, here is a virtual toast to a great year ahead, a faithful walk with God, and to good health! :) May Malaysian toilets be CLEANER and the football team wins more games so more public holidays be declared. Here is also to a year of more Vampire Diaries episodes :)

Happy Blessed 2011, everyone!

I'd also like to add a very huge THANK YOU to all of you who have given me great memories in 2010, albeit not all great *points at Leonard regarding his underwear tales*. I'm grateful you guys accepted me into the circle and made my stay in Ormond a memorable one. :)

I hope you guys are having a great New Year, though I think Roland might need to put in some extra effort for that! Haha kidding. Stay away from sexy babies! :D

Love,

Cindy.
